Convert comic images between JPG, PNG, and WebP

Batch-convert pages, covers, and thumbnails without sending the files to a server. Optionally resize during conversion and download all results as one ZIP.

How to convert comic image format

1. Add the original files

Choose JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF files. For an animated GIF, the converter reads the displayed frame; use the dedicated GIF maker when animation is required.

2. Choose the destination format

Use JPG for broad publishing compatibility and full-color artwork. Choose PNG for transparency or lossless graphics. Choose WebP for efficient web delivery where it is accepted.

3. Set quality and maximum width

JPG and WebP quality affects file size. The maximum-width option can reduce oversized artwork proportionally, while “do not enlarge” protects smaller source files.

4. Review before publishing

Check lettering, gradients, transparent edges, dimensions, and file size. Download a batch as ZIP when all results look correct.

Image conversion questions

Will conversion improve a blurry image?

No. A new file format cannot recreate detail that is missing from the source.

Why does a converted JPG have a white background?

JPG does not support transparency, so transparent pixels need a solid background.

Does the converter upload my artwork?

No. Conversion and encoding happen locally in the browser.
