Resize comic images for covers, posts, and thumbnails

Use publishing presets or enter a custom size. The crop keeps the correct aspect ratio, while focus controls help keep the main character and title area visible.

How to resize comic artwork

1. Choose the source image

Start from the largest clean version available. Upscaling a small thumbnail cannot restore missing detail.

2. Pick the destination preset

Choose a Webtoon square or vertical cover, Instagram portrait, social link preview, or YouTube thumbnail. Select Custom size when a publisher gives different dimensions.

3. Adjust the crop focus

Move the horizontal and vertical focus toward the character, title, or important object. The tool crops excess edges rather than stretching the image.

4. Check the output

Confirm that faces, titles, and logos remain inside the safe area. Publisher specifications may change, so verify the current requirements before upload.

Comic resizing questions

Why are parts of the image cropped?

The source and destination can have different aspect ratios. Filling the entire output requires trimming edges; use the focus controls to decide which area stays visible.

Should I resize before compressing?

Usually yes. Set the required pixel dimensions first, then compress the finished image to the file-size limit.

Can the tool resize several images?

Yes. Every selected image uses the same preset and focus settings, making it useful for a consistent batch.
