Plans and credits

StoriesToon has a Free route and paid subscription plans. The live pricing page loads active plans from billing settings, so the visible plan name, price, allowance, and add-on options are authoritative at the time you create or renew a plan.

Credits are consumed by operations rather than by a single monthly feature bundle. Page generation, cover generation, redraw, local revision, story analysis, character preparation, and the Creative Asset Library can have separate costs. The confirmation shown immediately before an operation is the final charge notice.

Subscription tools and one-time packs

Free users can create supported work page by page. An active subscription adds workflow tools for longer projects, saved-project capacity, publishing limits, and other plan benefits. Buying a one-time credit pack adds credits but does not activate a subscription or unlock subscription-only tools.

Subscription credits refresh on successful billing renewal and do not roll over. Purchased credits and eligible reward credits remain available under the current account rules. Check the current product interface before relying on an allowance for a long chapter.

Downloads and watermarks

Supported finished work can be downloaded as images, a long vertical image, PDF, ZIP, or a self-contained HTML ebook. The available cover, selected page range, and current watermark rules are applied during export. Final exports do not include private scripts or internal creation data.

The current guide states that free downloads include a StoriesToon watermark unless the sharing flow grants removal. An account with a completed paid order can download without the watermark, while a one-time credit purchase does not unlock subscription-only tools. Confirm the current condition in the product before publishing.

Review before you commit

Generated results can vary. Review dialogue, names, cultural details, page order, and character continuity before saving, exporting, or publishing. A lower-cost review pass before a long run is usually easier to manage than correcting an entire finished chapter.

How to read the current billing information

Use the Pricing page to see which plans and credit products are currently available to your account. The displayed plan card, billing period, included allowance, and any one-time purchase option are more reliable than a screenshot, an old article, or a remembered price. Billing settings can change without changing the general workflow described on this page.

Before starting a chargeable operation, read the confirmation shown by the product. It should identify the operation and the current credit impact. This check matters for page generation, a cover, a redraw, a local fix, story analysis, character preparation, and asset-library work. If the confirmation does not match what you intended, stop and review the setup instead of assuming the operation is free.

Plan a project without relying on old numbers

A useful planning method is to separate the work into preparation, successful pages, and corrections. Estimate how many pages you want, leave room for a small review and revision pass, and then compare that estimate with the allowance shown in your account. Do not treat a credit balance as a guaranteed page count because different operations can consume different amounts and a page may need a correction.

For a first test, create one short page and inspect the complete path: source upload, character or story setup, generation, review, correction, and download. This reveals whether the format, style, language, and output fit your needs before you commit to a long chapter. It also gives you a real cost example from your own project rather than a generic calculation.

Subscription benefits and credit packs are different

A subscription and a one-time credit pack solve different problems. A subscription may provide plan-specific workflow tools, workspace capacity, or publishing allowances, while a credit pack adds generation credits under the current account rules. Buying credits should not be described as activating every subscription feature. Check the feature state in the product before purchasing.

When a plan renews, the account follows the current billing rules for that plan. Purchased or rewarded credits can have separate treatment from subscription credits. Because these rules are account and product settings rather than permanent documentation, use the current billing view and account ledger when deciding whether unused credits remain available.

Watermarks, downloads, and publishing are separate decisions

A download is a file operation, while public publishing is a visibility decision. A finished comic can be downloaded in a supported format without becoming a public gallery work. Conversely, an eligible public work follows publishing and continuation rules that are separate from the file you keep locally. Review the destination, rights, and sharing setting before distributing a comic.

The current product guide describes watermark behavior for free downloads and the condition under which an account can download without the watermark. Treat the current export screen as authoritative, because watermark eligibility can be changed by account state or product policy. A watermark rule does not change whether a project is private, eligible for the public gallery, or allowed to branch.

A safe review checklist for paid work

Before approving a long run, check five things: the source is yours to use, the chosen language is correct, the intended format is correct, the character or story setup is acceptable, and the operation confirmation is understandable. After generation, check the actual page rather than relying on a success message. Keep local exports of finished work and avoid putting private scripts or sensitive source material into an unnecessary public share.

If an operation fails, record the page, operation type, and displayed error before retrying. A failed operation follows the current billing behavior shown by the product, but repeated retries can make diagnosis harder. When support is needed, share the technical error and request identifier without exposing private source text, access tokens, or signed asset URLs.

A practical budget worksheet

Write down the number of pages you expect to keep, the number of pages you may need to redraw, and whether the project needs a cover or asset preparation. Then use the current confirmation prompts to replace the estimates with the actual charges. This worksheet is more useful than multiplying a plan allowance by a fixed page price when your project also includes analysis, corrections, or alternate versions.

Keep the first worksheet for the next chapter. Your own completed page cost, correction rate, and export needs provide a better planning baseline than a generic comparison. Recheck it after a plan change, a new model route, or a product update because the operation menu and account rules can change.
